Alyce Hamm is from Alsace-Lorraine, France. She opened her dress shop, Alyce Designs, where B Dazzle prom dresses later became a daughter company, in 1967 with her brother Jean-Paul Hamm, who later became the company's President and CEO. In 1955, Alyce immigrated to the United States from France. She trained in Parisian couture and costume design at the exalted Paris Ecole de Couture. She dreamed that her company would one day become internationally successful. Short after arriving to America, women worldwide started to wear her designs. To today Alyce is remembered for the poise, grace and veracity she brought to the industry of gowns and prom dresses for over 30 years. Her nieces, Claudine Hamm, Chief Operating Officer, Creative Director and Principal Designer, and Nathalie Lambert, Senior Designer now run the company and all of its daughter companies such as B Dazzle prom dresses.
