Just a reminder to all you animal lovers out there: Your pets do not think any of these Halloween shenanigans are funny.  Dogs and cats are already dressed up in fur; so when you wrap them in more stuff, its really just annoying to them.  Since you are not going to listen to me and dress them up anyway, be sure to give them plenty of water before taking them trick or treating or going to a party.  Any animal “outfit” should be a little snug but NOT tight.  Bringing along some little treats may not hurt either because around nine o’ clock, man’s best friend isn’t going to care that little Jane hasn’t been to enough houses yet.  He will just want to go home, get that silly costume off, and lick himself until he falls asleep.  In a related story, here is a picture of my new iphone.

Just another quick Whats in the Window (WITW) update.  We still don’t have our act together on writing down the actual style numbers and posting them here… we suck!  The window is setup with a Halloween/Fall theme this week and I just wanted to share it with all our loyal readers… of which we have 2… hi mom and dad!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Carey hosted a Halloween party in New York last night.  I am starting to think October 31st is just an excuse for the ladies to get as whore’d up as possible.  Guests included Lil Jon, Kendra from The Girls Next Door, and  Busta Rymes.  We will be posting more pictures from parties as they roll in.

Another one of those viral videos has come out of the Hollywood production department.  This one is directed by Stephen Spielberg, and what it lacks in being entertaining, it makes up for in celebrities telling us what to do.  Because if you are anything like me, you would not know to go vote unless someone rich and famous tells you to do so.

The almost 5 minute commercial stars Will Smith, Harrison Ford, Ben Stiller, Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz, Snoop, Scarlett Johannson, Justin Timberlake, Borat, Zach Braff, Ryan Reynolds, Shia LaBeouf, Orlando Bloom, Leonardo DiCaprio, Neil Patrick Harris, and Tobey Maguire, with special two second cameo’s by Ellen, Forest Whitaker, Jennifer Aniston, Eva Longoria, Ashton Kutcher, Jamie Fox, Benicio Del Toro, and about five regular people.

Kim Kardashian turned 28 this last weekend and had a party at LAX night club in Vegas.  She came appropriately dressed in a green ruched halter gown with a belt at the Empire waist.  Although this loose fitting gown doesn’t show off all of Kim’s assets (pun intended), a dress like this is perfect if you want to tone down big boobs or a big butt.

It appears we are a little late on this item as it was bigger news last week… But if you hadn’t heard…

You are looking at a picture of a giant spider that caught a full grown bird.  Before you freak out, this is somewhere in Australia so don’t run out and buy a shotgun just yet.  Apparently this bird flew into this spiders web and ended up becoming breakfast, lunch, and dinner for at least a couple days.  The spider is frickin’ huge and I am just going to end this post because it creeps me out.

Uhmmm.  Yea so AnnaLynne McCord, of the new 90210 and Nip/Tuck fame, showed up at Treasure Island in Las Vegas to some event where apparently you are supposed to wear as little as possible.  We were not sure if this was a fashion faux pas, so we looked at some other people from this red carpet and they all looked about the same.  So instead of blasting AnnaLynne for wear this dress outfit, we are going to say “you go girl.”  If you can pull off wearing something so skimpy, why not!

I’ve listened to this new song from Christina Aguilera twice, and verdict is… A hit!  This song has everything a song needs to annoy you in a month after being overplayed.  Its catchy, and she says “bitch” a lot which means everyone will think they are cool walking singing it.  Video below, enjoy!

One of prom’s biggest players is ready to rock! Jovani has released the 2009 prom line and we have it posted online. As with everyone else in the prom world this year, there is a heavy emphasis on prints. Jovani brings back the fashion forward look every girl wants to have, and has to take out a small loan to afford! The good news is: the line is reasonably priced this year. Prices are ranging from $250′ish all the way to $OMG ($1300). With around 200 new styles, Jovani is hoping to attract more prom princesses with well rounded and affordable dresses. WE are hoping to attract more sales because Jovani sent us hi-res images that our little photoshoppers went into and made some super close detail shots. Here are a couple below:

Remember not to spend most of your time looking at one line! With Jovani having so many dresses this season, you could literally spend a week looking at just one vendor. So remember to check out different manufacturers before you settle on a dress.

Heidi Montag’s clothing line has been discontinued.  Reviews have always been mixed about the reality tv stars fashion sense.  It has been worked on and promoted even though retailers would say it wasn’t selling too well.  She did win the LC vs Heidi clothing line contest back in August.  For the record, we voted for Heidi’s line as well, and I guess since it is discontinued, this is your chance to pick up some clothes on the bargain rack!
