Ok well, not really!  But it is a very cool Halloween decoration.  in the spirit of the season, we found this website called ExtremePumpkins.com that has a contest every year for the best designs of the season.  They also have tips and tricks for carving, as well some video tutorials.  The guy who runs this site, Tom (no not the FaceBook one), has published a couple books, been on Regis, MTV, the Travel Channel, and Good Morning America.

Sherri Hill is back for 2009 and let me tell you how excited we are… woopee!! Short cocktail dresses and straight gowns all of which have something unique. Get ready for multi color prints, intricate beading and/or floral appliques on the fronts, and strappy and low sexy backs. Be sure to keep a careful eye on prices as some of these dresses can go up to $700! Also, if you are looking for an entry level pageant gown, this would be a good line to look at.

We are still gearing up for our “whats in the window” (WITW) series here on the blog.  The first WITW from last week was the RIGHT side of the window from the CB’s retail store… this is the LEFT side.  We are still working out all the mess for doing this on a semi-consistent basis.  The next WITW post will have only 2009 prom dresses, and they will be labeled so you can go see them directly on our site (and buy them).

Scary Spice keepin’ it real in a rhinestone outlined cocktail dress, with pockets, and plenty of cleavage.  The problem is this thing on the top.  It has to go!  It vaguely resembles the head-wear of nun’s.  Pictures were taken outside of the MOBO awards which is an awards show in the UK.  In an effort to show my editorial prowess, I looked up MOBO on the wikipedia and it said the Music Of Black Origin awards honors artists of any race that perform music of black origin.  Does this mean Eminem has a MOBO award?

Updates for the day include the top 5 prom dresses from Le Gala (which is yet another line designed by Tony Bowls). There are about sixty new gowns in sizes 0-26. Cocktail dresses start around $198, while some of the heavier beaded ball gowns get into the $450 range.

Since every celeb has decided to chime in on the election… why not the cast of Gossip Girl. This isn’t as cool as Hayden’s endorsement because I did not hear the F word, but the video is kind of fun as it is a parody of the old Partnership for a drug free America commercials. Instead of parents telling their kids about how evil drugs are, the kids are telling their parents how evil McCain is.

Above is a press release from Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s people stating they are getting divorced.  I guess people are so up in their business, they actually have to send out a press release confirming the rumors over the last few months.  The early talk is that they have been separated for a long time and are just making it official.  Maybe Guy Ritchie can go back to making good movies now that he no longer has a leash, and Madonna can go back to being irrelevant.

Over 100 ladies have entered the Governing Bodies contest over on CollegeHumor.  The idea behind the contest is to get college girls to write the name of Obama or McCain on their bodies and take a picture.  The candidate with the most pictures wins.  Obama is in the lead by more than double.  It appears the only real rule to this contest is “no nudity” but as you can see, they get very close.  Whether it is tasteful or not is another story. It does have young people talking about who they are voting for and that is probably a good thing.

Jessica Biel endorses Obama and almost smiles.  When I asked around the office what people thought of this photo… here were the responses I got:

This is probably a pointless rally to begin with.  The girls were just staring at J.T., and the boys were just staring at J.B. the whole time.  Maybe more people would vote if we had better looking candidates.
