According to the L.A. County District Attorney, Howard K. Stern (above left), Dr. Sandeep Kapoor (above right) and Khristine Eroshevic are being charged with a total of eight felonies amounting to conspiring to fuel an addict with prescription drugs. The addict is Anna Nicole and the conspiracy counts allege the three defendants conspired to furnish controlled substances to Smith between July, 2004 and January 2007.
The American sex symbol died of an apparent drug overdose on February 8, 2007 (2007-02-09) at the age of 39. She was found unresponsive in her room at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.
Stern, former guardian of Dannielynn (Smith’s daughter), turned himself in just last night. He was arrested and charged, along with the two doctors. All three defendants face a $20,000 bail. It is reported that Stern and Kapoor have already posted it and were released.
Stern has denied doing anything illegal in connection with drugs and Anna Nicole.

Spring has sprung and Summer is well on its way. Swimsuit weather is just around the corner and with it comes anxiety and maybe even depression! But swimsuit shopping doesn’t have to be a nightmare.
There are a variety of suits available to accomodate any body shape. Follow these simple tips to find the swimsuit that is perfect for your body type.
Apple Shape:
Apple-shaped bodies or inverted triangle shapes have broad shoulders. Swimsuit shoppers with this body type should choose a swimsuit with a high-cut neckline, minimizing the top and emphasizing the bottom. Interested in a two-piece suit? A solid top with printed bottoms works best for the Apple Shape.
Pear Shape:
This body type has wonderfully (or maybe not so wonderfully) rounded hips and bottom. Pear Shapes usually have a wider waist than shoulders. One-piece boatneck, racerback and tummy-control swimsuits visibly create the illusion of broader shoulders for a more balanced figure. If you prefer a two-piece suit, halter-style tops with darker bottoms are ideal.
Slender or Athletic Shape:
The slender body shape is long and lean with the same width at the shoulders, waist and hips. Swimmers with this body type need to create curves. You’ll want a swimsuit that creates the look of a defined waistline, try belted bottoms.
The Hourglass Shape:
Often considered the perfect body shape, the hourglass has a well-defined bust, waist and hips. This shape can show off all the assets…so go wild! You look great in most any style.
The Round Shape:
Not all Round Shapes are plus-size women. Many women tend to gain weight in their midsection, making them appear shapeless in the middle. While a one-piece is definitely recommended, you don’t have to settle for boring. Try a ruched tankini to draw attention away from the mid-section. The tankini is also great if you have awesome legs and want to show them off.

With Hollywood’s awards season behind us, we are left wondering…how do those stars look so damn perfect? While the silicone valley is definitely in full swing, not all beauty secrets of the stars involve the knife.
Some last minute red-carpet regiments include spanx, spray tans and even Scotch tape! The growing popularity of spray tanning cannot be ignored. Spray tans can not only lend a healthy glow to the pale and putrid, but it can also add muscle definition where there is none. Spray-tanner- to-the-stars Jimmy Coco reveals the secret:
“If they haven’t quite been to the gym, I can make it look as though they have,” he says. “I give them an even glow and lightly etch in where the muscle is.”
On to the body shapers. Stylists swear by Spanx, a brand of bodyshaping undergarments that promises to “rescue women from love handles, waistline spillage and cellulite,” according to the company’s Web site. Spanx have a way of smoothing all the bumps and blemishes.
Before the days of the NuBra (a silicone, adhesive bust enhancer/bra) and nipple covers, stylist would put cotton balls over the nipple and scotch tape them in place! Tape is still a critical part of a stylist’s toolbox. Surgical (or even electrical) tape can be wrapped beneath the breasts, squashing them together to create cleavage. But double-stick tape is even more popular. Stylists use it to hold spaghetti straps in place, keep loose dresses close to the skin and prevent plunging necklines from becoming pornographic. Before companies made special two-sided tape for fashion use, stylists relied on toupee tape.
Beauty can be bought….you too can be taped, tucked and tanned.

Vince Vaughn, of Wedding Crashers fame, is officially off the market. According to the Montreal Gazette, Vaughn will soon be taking his own stroll down the aisle. He recently proposed to girlfriend Kyla Weber. The 38-year-old reportedly got down on one knee and popped the question with a four-carat, $125,000 ring on Valentine’s Day.

His relationship with the Calgary realtor has been kept out of the lime light.
“I always try to keep my relationships quiet and my work at the forefront,” Vince told Parade magazine in January 2008. “I haven’t been someone to go and talk about those things, because that’s not what I want to be known for.”
Keep relationships quiet? Has Vince so quickly forgotten about his highly-publicized romance and break-up with super star Jennifer Aniston? Their split came at the end of 2006 and sent the media into a frenzy.

TLC’s newest reality series takes a behind-the-scenes look at child beauty competitions. The show comes on the heels of a documentary by TLC on that very subject. Viewers were so fascinated by the show that TLC decided to spin it off into a new reality show with the same name.
“Toddlers and Tiaras” will follow a number of contestants of different ages, including kids under 5, through the pageant scene. The show’s producers say, “The series showcases the traditional elements of child pageants, jam-packed with stage moms and dads, hair extensions, spray tanning, makeup, and glitter. It features extremely non-traditional and modern aspects of the pageant scene, from girls entering the competitive landscape with less makeup and a more natural look, to pageants with boys mixed into the competition.”
The most recent installment of Toddlers and Tiaras featured a gown by Tiffany Designs. The gorgeous lime/turq/black combination can be found on our website, click here.
The TLC website describes the new show:
On any given weekend, on stages across the country, little girls and boys parade around wearing makeup, false eyelashes, spray tans and fake hair to be judged on their beauty, personality and costumes. Toddlers and Tiaras follows families on their quest for sparkly crowns, big titles, and lots of cash.
The preparation is intense as it gets down to the final week before the pageant. From hair and nail appointments, to finishing touches on gowns and suits, to numerous coaching sessions or rehearsals, each child preps for their performance. But once at the pageant, it’s all up to the judges and drama ensues when every parent wants to prove that their child is beautiful.
Some call it exploitation, a mother living out her own dreams through a toddler too young to disagree. Or perhaps it is fun, just like recreational soccer leagues or cheer camp. Agree with it or not, Pageantry is a $5 billion a year biz and can actually bring contestants excellent benefits, like scholarship money, new cars and family vacations. You can catch Toddlers and Tiaras Tuesday nights at 10:00 on TLC.

The model and former Bachelor contestant has decided to sue over her infamous fall in October of 2007. Sarah Welch worked a fashion show at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood over a year ago and took a nasty spill into the Mondrian pool just below the stage. The hole in the runway was created by an earlier performance by Shaolin monks. During the demonstration, one of the monks did a front flip and landed a little too hard, breaking the runway.
“I had no idea that there was a hole there. It was almost like falling through ice. I was trying to get out and I remember there were pieces breaking around me and I couldn’t,” she told Inside Edition in 2007.
The lawsuit, filed in Santa Monica earlier this month, is directed toward several companies involved with the fashion show. Welch claims she suffered “great injuries to her body, shock and injuries to her nervous system” after the fall. Welch is suing for negligence and is seeking unspecified damages.
Ironically, Sarah wasn’t so devastated by the fall when it happened. When questioned about the video of her fall being viewed by millions, she told KABC-TV, “It is just a really funny mishap, I hope they’re enjoying watching it just as much as I am!”
The lawsuit is bogus. You can’t sue over a bruised ego!

The CW network shakes up primetime and the modeling world with it’s latest casting call for the hit show, America’s Next Top Model. Before cycle 12 even begins, casting for cycle 13 is underway and with a twist. Contrary to the stereotypical model, averaging a height of 5′10″, the show is limiting auditionees to a height of no more than 5′7″.

“There have been top supermodels in the past that weren’t as tall as the industry demands, like fashion icon Kate Moss,” Tyra Banks said in a press release. “So we are changing up ‘Top Model’ for cycle 13 and making it a year for the shorter model!”
This new twist is quite a stretch considering the past 12 cycles of the show have made height a tall issue, requiring all applicants to be at least 5′7″. Co-producer Tyra Banks claims to want to change the face and figure of fashion, so she starts with height? Seriously Tyra, let’s focus on a more pressing issue for young girls, like anorexia and bulimia. How about a cycle that requires applicants to weight more than 90 pounds?
In addition to the height requirement, those interested in applying for Top Model’s thirteenth season must be ages 18 to 27 of “diverse backgrounds, shapes and sizes.” Cycle 12 of America’s Next Top Model begins March 4 on the CW. Open calls for cycle 13 began Saturday, February 28, in Florida and will continue throughout March.
