The latest edition of People Magazine introduces the world to Sandra Bullock’s adopted son, Louis.
“He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way,” Bullock told People. “It’s like he’s always been a part of our lives.”
She and husband Jesse James began the adoption process before the scandal of his infidelity was revealed. Somehow they were able to keep the adoption a secret from the media. Only a few close family and friends knew about Louis.

The latest news surrounding Lindsay Lohan and her departure from her role in the upcoming film, “The Other Side” has ignited a firestorm of speculation. The films directors released a statement after the news broke that the team had decided to move on from Lohan; they claim she no longer has bankability. Lindsay has always lived under the microscope, but this latest development, in the saga that is her life, has lead major networks like CBS’s The Early Show to predict her demise.
Former drug and alcohol addict Danny Bonaduce was interviewed this morning on the topic of Lindsay. They asked if he thought she was the next Hollywood statistic, like Heath Ledger or Cory Haim. Bonaduce spoke strongly against Michael and Dina Lohan, saying that the pair were not in any way sincerely concerned about Lilo’s health. “They see her as a big fat sack of money. On their Christmas Card, there is Michael, Dina, the family dog and one big sack of cash.”
Lohan has not appeared on the big screen since her 2007 film “I Know Who Killed Me”.

It just may be the hottest summertime trend for 2010…the romper. Yes, a romper. It is a throwback to the seventies and reminds me of that show, Three’s Company (love it by the way).
The romper is a one-piece short suit that usually is sleeveless or has short-sleeves and is often times self-belted. My recent enlistment into mommyhood has afforded me a bit of knowledge on onesies, rompers and the like. I must admit, they are my absolute favorite choices for my 3-month-old. But rompers on teens and adult women, as fashion?
Celebrities like Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan sport this style with ease. Wish I could tell you that a romper is ideal for all body shapes. Truth is, it only works well on ideal shapes…very lean and of average height, with long legs, a completely flat stomach and not much in the trunk area (that last one makes me wonder why Jess has been spotted in a velour romper).
The rompers above are from TopShop!

A $60 TopShop dress, worn by two celebs. This is probably the only way this flowered frock would get any media coverage, unless of course it makes the worst dressed list. It looks more like grandmother’s draperies and is extremely unflattering on both Miley Cyrus and Jessica Stroup.
Maybe even more disgusting than the denim blouse Miley layered up with, is the unlaced combat style boots on her feet. Stroup doesn’t fair much better, pairing her disastrous dress with a white belt and calf-length booties.
Stroup looks like a homewrecker, while Miley looks homeless.

ABC finally put Kate Gosselin out of her misery. After four painful-to-watch dances, the reality mom will be hanging up her dancin’ shoes. She and partner Tony Dolovani became the third couple to leave the dance floor on the hit show Dancing With The Stars.
Kate let go a flood of emotion, along with a few shaky and rehearsed words, after she was given the boot.
“I am very honored to have been here … It was a good experience.” She added, “I cannot wait to watch the rest of these people perform Monday … I’ve really grown to love everyone.” She finally thanked her fans for voting for her despite low scores from the judges. Said Gosselin, “Thank you for believing in me probably more than I believed in myself.”

The 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards aired Sunday night. The red carpet in Las Vegas lit up with celebs like Nicole Kidman, Faith Hill and Jewel. Some of the most noteworthy fashions were designed by Pamella Roland and worn by Hillary Scott (Lady Antebellum) in hot pink and Miranda Lambert in a stunning sequined Sapphire. Along with kudos for fashion, both ladies racked up awards at the ACM’s.
Not even the luck of the Las Vegas Strip could help country music’s golden girl, Taylor Swift. Swift walked away from the ACM’s empty-handed. She was, however, dressed beautifully in a backless, embroidered, lavender Marchesa gown. Nicole Kidman, wife of Australian cowboy Keith Urban, donned a tuxedo-style cocktail; not her typically glamorous red carpet attire.

These celebs haven’t been convicted of a crime, but they sure are dressing the part. People Magazine calls it a trend alert, black and white horizontal stripes on a t-shirt dress.
Mandy Moore, Kate Bosworth and Christy Turlington sport their versions of this Springtime sensation. Mandy pairs the dress with gladiator sandals and a black leather bag, while Kate Bosworth spices it up with a bright red cardigan. Christy Turlington keeps her accessories simple with an orange bag and subdued sandals.

In a troubled economy, with a record-setting unemployment rate, a fancy prom gown may be the last thing on your list. Seventeen Magazine showcased some of the season’s hottest looks, with a reasonable price tag, on “LIVE! With Regis and Kelly” this morning.
Models wore the top five trends for Prom 2010, all retailing under $200! Ombre-shaded gowns, gold tones and romantic/Victorian styles lead the way. The addition of rosettes to bodices or hemlines, along with tiered ruffles capture the Victorian period in a simply romantic way!
Perhaps the biggest style trend to look for is the one-shoulder gown. On a long gown or short, sequined or simple, one shoulder elegance is irresistible.

After inviting Lady Gaga to remix her ‘09 hit, Vidoephone, Beyonce takes her turn on Gaga’s newest single, Telephone. The nine minute video of Beyonce and Gaga in a Quentin Tarentino-esque scene is getting mixed reviews. Some hail the video as Gaga’s best work, others seem to think it is a complete waste of nine minutes.
Some of the highlights include a nude Gaga climbing the wall of a jail cell, sunglasses made of smoldering cigarettes, a cat fight, a plot to poison Beyonce’s beau and not to mention the overly obvious product placement.
I must admit, it is an interesting one…check it out for yourself.
