WWD reported that the youngest Jenner will walk the runway at New York’s Fashion Week, modeling Avril Lavigne designs! While big sister Kendall (photo, right) is usually the Jenner spotted on the runway, Kylie (photo, left) is no stranger to the modeling scene. The tween appeared in a series of ads for national retailer, Sears.

No doubt she’s talented…but Kylie’s new gig is not by chance. Avril is currently dating the Jenner’s half brother, Brody.

Impression bridal took the formal wear market by storm when they introduced a hot, sexy new prom line…Xcite nearly seven years ago. The company has made waves each season since and has quickly become one the industry’s top prom designers.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of previewing the 2012 line in Cancun, Mexico! Xcite held it’s annual fashion show prom preview in sunny Cancun and invited retailers from all over the continent! Guests enjoyed the weekend at the all-inclusive Cancun Palace resort and sat in on the prom preview fashion show. The new line showcased brand new silhouettes and exquisite bead work, as well as a few old favorites!

If Xcite’s line is any indication of the coming prom season, watch out! This one’s gonna be hot!

Sounds like a great love story, right? According to FOX News, it is a story that may never happen. They report that Mila’s hectic work schedule could interfere with the November 18th Marine Corp Ball date.

Mila famously said “yes” to a YouTube video invite from Sgt. Scott Moore when asked about it on Fox411 last weekend. Mila and Friends With Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake were promoting the new movie when Mila was questioned about the strange proposal. Without even seeing the YouTube video, and without checking her work schedule, she said yes! After some coaxing from Timberlake, of course. Now, reports that Mila might not make it are drawing “Awwws” from all who have heard of this story. Check out the marine’s YouTube proposal!

The 2011 BET Awards were a smash with performances from Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige and Beyonce (abroad). The songstress disappointed some fans with her skyped video from England, where she was performing at the Glastonbury festival. She still rocked the stage though and had bloggers and tweeters alike labeling her “the greatest performer of our time.”

Other notables from the night…the first ever “tie” on the BET Awards was given to the Smith kids. Jaden and Willow shared the trophy in the Youngstars category.

Premiering April 29th, Disney’s Prom promises a good time for the whole family. Aimee Teegarden (of Friday Night Lights fame) stars in this comedic portrayal of teens in the peak of high school excitement…the prom.

Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De’Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school’s most seminal events.

Barbie’s long time beau, Ken, celebrated his 50th birthday earlier this month and I must say, he hasn’t aged a bit!

First introduced in 1961, the Ken doll was swimsuit clad and toting a beach blanket. Fast forward 50 years, and the guy looks more like  a Backstreet Boy.

His makeover, in honor of his birthday, was inspired by teen heartthrobs Zac Efron and Justin Beiber. Matel also added some muscle to his build and clothed him in a t-shirt that reads “ultimate boyfriend”. The new Ken is also equipped to record 5 seconds of sound and play it back – in three different pitches!

Teen heartthrobs Selena Gomez and Justin Beiber walked the red carpet looking like prom king and queen on Oscar night. The new Hollywood couple made their debut on Sunday, not to the surprise of anyone. There have been rampant rumors and countless snapshots proving the fact, but it’s official.  The two held hands and kissed for the cameras.

Selena’s red-hot Dolce & Gabbana gown stunned the crowd while Beiber’s matching hanky was the perfect compliment.

The collaborative performance of Justin Beiber, Jayden Smith and Usher was nothing but brilliant…fun to watch and so reminiscent of Michael Jackson. Usher has made no bones about the fact that his musical prowess is derived from the prince of pop and last night’s performance certainly attested to that.

The set began with a throw-back to 2007, a video of Beiber singing for Usher for the very first time. Then young Beiber plays solo on the guitar, singing his hit “Baby”, which leads into the intense dance-a-thon between himself and Jayden Smith. The two busted moves to Beiber’s latest hit, “Never Say Never”, while proud parents Will and Jada sing, dance and cheer in their seats. Finally comes the entrance of Usher, who delivers an exhilarating performance to his hit, “O.M.G.”

The shocker for me came about half-way through Usher’s performance, when he either slung his sunglasses (on purpose) or lost them (accidentally). Usher never performs without those sunglasses, he even delivered a eulogy at Michael Jackson’s memorial service wearing sunglasses. Even Beiber performs with Usher wearing sunglasses…but the superstar’s shades remain absent. I am gonna call it a wardrobe malfunction.

Faviana showcased the hottest red carpet looks from Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards with “inspired by” gowns on the Today’s Show. Once again the world-renowned evening gown designer has brought the red carpet to reality with gowns that replicate that of Carrie Underwood, Eva Longoria, Megan Fox and Natalie Portman.

This modern, classic, cap-sleeve gown is modeled after the Zac Posen number Eva Longoria walked the red carpet in!
