Sherri Hill has been designing couture pageant gowns for more than ten years. Until May of 2007, Sherri was chief designer for Jovani in New York. With Jovani, Sherri created some of the most glamorous ensembles and helped to make Jovani one of the biggest names in the Prom/Pageant industry. Sherri Hill decided to embark on a design venture all her own, creating a collection of prom, pageant, red carpet and special event dresses under her own name.
Many winners have graced stages across the country in Sherri Hill gowns. Miss USA 2007 Rachel Smith, Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner, Miss America 2007 Lauren Nelson and Miss America 2006 Jennifer Berry were all crowned in Sherri Hill gowns. MTV Video Jockey and Total Request Live host Susie Castillo also won the Miss USA crown wearing a Sherri Hill designed evening gown.
Sherri Hill's devotion to design is evident in her selection of beautiful fabrics and trimmings combined with her uncanny sense of style. She uses crafty cuts and angles to accentuate only the best features of each and every woman wearing a “Sherri.”
